Merica’s story began with disappointment from her owners, who decided to abandon her because they were unhappy with the outcome of her previous litters.
In a heartbreaking act, they left Merica, heavily pregnant and in labor, out in the pouring rain, seemingly amused by her predicament.
Thankfully, the rescue organization H4M Sanctuary Dogs stepped in just in time to ensure Merica’s safety. Shortly after her arrival at the shelter, she gave birth to a litter of puppies.
