When Logan’s Legacy 29 founder, Hall, heard about a dog in distress, she quickly made her way to the location. Upon arrival, she discovered a dog struggling to move and realized that timing was critical to saving her life.
“She’s definitely in shock,” Hall shared on Facebook. “Rescue work is challenging—it’s emotional, but I have to be their voice.”
With care, Hall gathered the dog into her arms and hurried to the nearby veterinary clinic for a complete examination. During the drive, she named the dog Inky and was immediately charmed by her gentle nature.

The story of Inky’s rescue spread rapidly, and within just a day, her owner was located. Upon learning about Inky, whose real name was Tulum, he rushed to the vet clinic.
Overcome with emotion upon seeing his beloved pet’s condition, he couldn’t hold back his tears.
“She means everything to her owner—she’s his entire world,” Hall wrote on Facebook. “We shared tears and a hug. My heart aches seeing his heartbreak.”

Although relieved to be reunited with Tulum, her owner was heartbroken over her health issues and the looming medical costs. At the time, Tulum was paralyzed from the neck down and needed comprehensive testing and treatment.
Unfortunately, Tulum’s owner could not afford the MRI and surgery she required. That’s when Hall took action. She organized a fundraiser through her followers, gathering enough donations to cover Tulum’s medical needs.
Despite the long road to recovery, Tulum’s spirits lifted after reuniting with her owner.

“All it took was for her to gaze up at her dad,” Hall wrote on Facebook. “Hope was evident in her eyes.”
On November 6, 2024, Tulum underwent surgery to repair her injuries. The procedure went well, and with ongoing physical therapy and laser treatments, she started to regain movement. Hall and the medical team were optimistic about her recovery.
“Our sweet girl is making great progress with her therapies,” Hall posted on Facebook. “She’s even showing improvements in her back legs. I truly believe in a Christmas miracle.”

In the weeks following her surgery, Tulum remained at the clinic recovering until she was strong enough to go home. Finally, over a month after the ordeal began, Tulum could hardly contain her joy when her owner came to take her home.
“She couldn’t wait to be back in his arms,” Hall shared on Facebook. “Tulum and her dad are together again.”
After their emotional reunion, Tulum and her owner left the clinic, their hearts full of happiness. Hall felt privileged to have been part of their journey.
“SHE IS A MIRACLE,” Hall expressed. “I can’t stop crying.”
