A unique puppy that’s being described as a “magical unicorn” is said to be on the mend after being rescued from freezing cold conditions.
The plucky pup, distinguishable by a tiny second tail growing on its head, was found by Missouri-based rescue organization Mac’s Mission wandering around outside with an older dog last week.

Mac’s Mission shared a picture of the pooch on social media. They’ve named him “Narwhal the Little Magical Furry Unicorn” and, it’s safe to say, he’s quickly stealing the hearts of the internet.Staff at Mac’s Mission took Narwhal to the vets earlier this week to find out why he had a second tail. The subsequent x-ray revealed the tail isn’t connected to anything, meaning it serves little purpose beside turning Narwhal’s cute factor up to 1,000.
A video uploaded by Mac’s Mission shows Narwhal running and playing enthusiastically. The ‘unicorn tail’ doesn’t seem to bother him one bit!The rescuers said: “The unicorn face tail does not bother Narwhal and he never slows down just like any normal puppy. He seems completely healthy other than some usual puppy worms he got meds for.”
