Pitbull Mom Can’t Hold Back Tears After Being Abandoned Without Her Puppies

Have you ever seen a dog cry? It sounds strange, but one brave and beautiful pitbull named Cinnamon did just that. Her story is amazing and shows how one small video can change a life forever.

A Sad Start at the Shelter

Cinnamon, a red-nosed pitbull, was once at the Charlotte Mecklenburg Animal Care & Control shelter in North Carolina. Imagine being in a place where you feel lonely and forgotten. That was Cinnamon’s world.

She had been left all alone, separated from her puppies. Every time someone came by, her eyes filled with tears. Her sadness touched the heart of a kind volunteer, who decided to record her.

A Video That Could Change Everything

One day, a volunteer named Sarah Jennings Sleime went to the shelter to look at dogs and see which ones needed help. When she saw Cinnamon, who was slumped in her kennel and almost looking human, she knew something was wrong.

Cinnamon had so many puppies before, and it seemed like she was used in ways that made her very sad. Sarah bent down to talk to her, and every time she did, Cinnamon’s eyes began to cry. Sarah quickly recorded a short video of Cinnamon crying in her cage and posted it on Facebook.

It is unbelievable, but in just 48 hours the video was viewed over 1 MILLION times and shared by 20,000 people! You can see the impact of that video below. It was like magic – the video brought in so many people who wanted to help and adopt Cinnamon, and it even helped free space for other animals in need.

She turned around, expecting to see one of her roommates — but instead, a gray-faced pit bull stood quietly in the doorway, staring up at her like he’d been invited. For a moment, she froze. The dog looked worn out and dusty, his fur matted from the outside world. But there was something gentle in his eyes — a look that asked for nothing more than kindness. A Surprise Visitor Walks Through the Door Kayla crouched down, softly speaking to him. He wagged his tail, stepped forward, and leaned his head into her hands as if they’d known each other forever.
