A tiny puppy, named Laxman, arrived at an animal shelter with a devastating eye injury, likely from a car accident. His eye had popped out, requiring immediate veterinary attention. The shelter team quickly determined that the eye could not be saved and prepared Laxman for surgery. The injured eye was removed, and the wound was carefully dressed.

Laxman showed remarkable courage throughout the procedure.

In the days following surgery, Laxman received round-the-clock care, including medication and monitoring. He adjusted quickly to life with one eye, his resilience shining through.By the 20th day, Laxman was a happy, active puppy, full of life. He embraced his new reality, proving that joy can prevail even after adversity.

The shelter team ensured Laxman was vaccinated, well-fed, and emotionally nurtured, preparing him for his forever home.

Laxman’s story serves as a reminder of the dangers animals face on the roads and the invaluable work of animal shelters.

Drivers are urged to be cautious, especially in areas where animals may roam.
